hi!!! this blog entry is to show off my houseplants and give some tips i've learned on how to care for them!

ok so first off, one of my favorites... this plant is called maranta leuconeura, or prayer plant! it's leaves fold up and down along with the sun! this plant is pretty tolerant to low light, but still needs some light. i had it by an east-facing window at first, and some of the leaves on the side that was turned away from the window turned brown. i would reccomend turning every once in awhile in similar cases. it is very happy at it's west-facing window currently!
